Panasonic DVD-LS90
Portable DVD Player
Panasonic markets a range of half-a-dozen portable DVD players, with the
DVD-LS90 - boasting a nine-inch screen - by far the most popular of these.

website wrote:
We like: Smart design; pivoting neck; huge screen; plays DVD-RAM
discs
We don't like: Flickery video playback; composite video output; no
DivX support; virtually no included accessories
...CNET.co.uk judgement: The DVD-LS90 has a large screen and pivoting
neck which make it immediately impressive for train journeys, while DVD-RAM
playback is one of its talents -- useful if you have a Panasonic DVD
recorder. But its video quality is hampered by a large screen size, its
video outputs are of a low quality and the lack of DivX playback is an
important omission, meaning that it can't compete with cheaper and better
specified models.
The About website named it as one of their
Top
8 Portable DVD Players, and said:
The most interesting thing about this portable DVD powerhouse from
Panasonic is the large, 9” bright widescreen display which can rotate to
different viewing angles. The player offers up six of battery life before
needing to be recharged, can play several different DVD (DVD-RAM/-R/-RW/+R/+RW)
and CD (MP3, CD-R/RW, WMA) formats and its A/V outputs, including optical,
can be used to turn the DVD-LS90 into a player for the home.
Separately, the website named it one of its
Top 5
2005 Portable Entertainment Products.
